"We were fairly late in deciding that we wanted a film of our wedding and now it is one of our most treasured memories of the day. "We booked Ido Wedding Films after seeing an advert on Facebook and sending off for a sample. Adam and Russell met us a couple of times in person to talk us through the packages (including any bespoke arrangements we wished to make) and what we wanted from them for our day. It was all about us – they didn't push any particular service and we were confident they had understood the sentiment of our wedding. They even got excited about it all like we did. It was like planning it with a couple of friends.
"They arrived ahead of schedule on the day but rather than panic me by being early (!) they got some lovely footage of the venue in early morning sunshine waiting for guests/catering/flowers to arrive. After Adam joined the bridesmaids and I while we were getting ready (and Russell joined the boys) we didn't notice his presence at all. I was concerned at having a camera in my face which couldn't have been further from the truth. They got some super frames that morning, capturing perfectly the relaxed atmosphere and excitement ahead of the ceremony.
"Adam and Russell were with us until the evening do began. They fitted in neatly, didn't need any direction or attention and shared our special day like personally invited wedding guests. We were sorry to see them go as they were lovely company and smiled the whole day with us. Their after-service matched entirely – we had a proof just a fortnight after the event (hand-delivered to my work to avoid any postal strikes which were going on at that time) and we hardly needed to change a thing. We also selected 50 stills from the film footage, many of which captured quirky, precious moments that the photographer didn't have a hope of capturing.
"The whole ido package really complemented the formal shots captured by our photographer, which is exactly what we had hoped for. Interestingly I also asked our photographer to include some of your stills in our printed album which, surprisingly, he was happy to do. We had only budgeted for a photographer but when we saw a friend's wedding DVD and the demo from Ido we went and found the additional money. It was the best money we spent. Adam and Russell have given us memories to cry over for years to come!"
