Terms and Conditions...

Here's the boring bit, sorry!

Both parties will agree that the Terms and Conditions laid out here form part of the contractual agreement between the first party, hereafter called “The Videographer” and the second party i.e. the person or persons booking the video services, hereafter called “The Client”. It is also agreed that no subsequent changes or modifications will be made to the contract without the agreement in writing of both parties.

1 Deposit
1.1 A booking fee which is non-refundable and shall be payable by the client within 14 days of booking. After this period the booking will become void. This deposit will be 20% of the total package price. This is subtracted from the remaining total fee.

2 Website Details
2.1 Prices listed may change at any time, but this does not affect any bookings or contracts already agreed on the date of the contract and deposited for.

3 License
3.1 The Videographer shall be granted reasonable artistic license in regard to scenes, poses, locations, etc. as applicable. The judgement of the Videographer will be deemed correct.

4 Rights
4.1 The Videographer shall be the sole professional practitioner at the Wedding. While it is accepted that some guests may wish to make personal videographic records of the wedding, the Videographer reserves the right to ask them to stop if they become intrusive, distractive, or form any nuisance or hindrance to the Videographer.

5 Copyright
5.1 The copyright of the video production will be vested in the Videographer, and no form of copying or reproduction, etc. (other than by the Videographer) without written permission from the Videographer will be allowed. The Videographer may take reasonable use of some of the production for samples for display or advertising purposes.

6 Master Material
6.1 Edited Master material shall be retained by the Videographer for not less than a year. The material shall remain the property of the Videographer, but copies will be obtainable throughout this period.

7 Standards
7.1 The Videographer shall at all times strive to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and artistic ability.

7.2 The Videographer shall work within the reasonable terms set by the client or by any official or person possessing the correct and legal authority to set limitationsor restrictions.

7.3 The Videographer will not be responsible for non-fulfilment of contract if restricted by legal, trespass, dangerous or official limitations.

7.4 The Videographer shall carry out the assignment with the video is finished and before it is issued to the Client. all proper respect and decorum for the environment and surroundings, causing the minimum of distraction and disturbance necessary to achieve a satisfactory recording. The Videographer will also comply with the standard of dress and conduct appropriate to the occasion in which they are working.

7.5 The Videographer will endeavour to provide a pleasing colour balance, but cannot guarantee exact colour matching as seen by the human eye, due to lighting conditions on the day, and other variables beyond the Videographer’s control.

8 Force Majeure
8.1 The Videographer’s contractual liability is subject to alteration or cancellation if the production is subjected to any cause of non-compliance or failure beyond the Videographers control.

8.2 In the unlikely event of a videographic failure or cancellation of the contract by the Videographer any liability will be restricted to a full refund of all monies paid. The Videographer will not be liable for any consequential loss howsoever caused.

9 Cancellation
9.1 The Client may cancel the contract at any time prior to the date of the Wedding. Should the notice of cancellation be received by the Videographer less than four weeks before the wedding, the client may be charged a Cancellation fee.

10 Filming Permission and Fees
10.1 It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that permission has been given to film in all venues. In the event that the venue charges a fee for filming, the Client will be liable for this fee.
